Improved user interface for input sweeping

· Malcolm Abbott · SunSolve Power Videos

The SunSolve version 7.5 update introduces improvements to sweep input management within the user interface. The floating dialog box has been removed and replaced with a dedicated Solver tab. This new tab provides a clear, organized view of all sweep inputs and allows users to easily define sweep parameters. See the details below and watch the accompanying video for a full walkthrough.

How to run a sweep

  1. Engage sweep mode: Click the broom icon located on the toolbar. When sweep mode is engaged, inputs can be added or removed from the sweep list.
  2. Select inputs to sweep: Eligible inputs are highlighted in yellow. Click eligible inputs to add or remove them from the sweep list.
  3. Define sweep ranges: Define the upper and lower bounds of the sweep inputs on the “Solver” tab. Two-dimensional sweeps can be created by clicking the ↓ arrows at the start of the row containing the input.
  4. Run sweep: Click play ▶.
